The life of Eva Smith (Part 1)

While reading the book, the readers get only episodic sections as information about the life of Eva Smith. For that reason, I decided to summarize the life story of that mysterious young lady.

The known story of her began at the end of September in the year 1910. So nearly two years ago, she was working for over a year in Arthur Birling's company. She was a good worker and her foreman want to give her a promotion. But when she came back from holidays, she asked for more money. Mr. Birling was scared that the others also want more, so he refused and discharged her. After that, she stopped being Eva Smith The Girl was for two months out of work and half-starved. Fortunately, she was taken in a shop called Millwards. She liked her new job, but after a few months she was fired. Sheila Birlings has complained about her, because Sheila was jealous of the girl. Sheila was trying a new dress on. It didn't suits her, but it was perfect for her. After the  girl lost her work, she changed her name to Daisy Renton.
